Sahibganj is an ancient settlement along the banks of the Ganga river which was considered a salubrious posting for British railway officials and their families during colonial times. Many old artifacts dating from that era have been recovered and spirited away, never to be seen. We recreate one of the wonderful pieces made by Indian artisans of another century.
